DAPI-stained mycel

DAPI (4',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole, dihydrochloride) is a dye which binds to DNA and shows an increased blue fluorescence when bound to DNA. The blue fluorescent spots in the picture show the nuclei in the mycel.
