Svein,

Here is the couple of ideas:
1. Simulation of CO2 flooding for NCS field.
2. Evaluation of different EOS models for chemical flooding in STARS.

The first project would be based on the of the EOR projects we have
in IRIS.

The second one is my idea to have a look on using PC-SAFT EOS when
simulating, for example, polymer flooding instead of PR and SRK. In
STARS polymer is introduced as a separate component and its behavior
is  modeled using EOS. Since STARS is using K-values any EOS may be
used to generate them. I don't think anyone tried using special EOS.
For this task we need a student with a solid knowledge of EOS and
good results in PVT-analysis course.
