MS-Thesis on water based EOR

The Carbonate Group at UoS is doing research on water-based EOR from
Carbonates and Sandstones. The objecvtive of our work is to improve oil
displacement by water by using "smart water". This can be done by improving
the wetting conditions of the reservoir rock by injection "smart water".
Most of our work is experimental lab-work. If You are interested in
experimental EOR-work for you MS-thesis, we have room for 2-3 MS students
next semester.
Actual topics are:

   Water based EOR from limestone
   Improved oil recovery by low salinity water injection into sandstones.

We have projects together with international oil companies on both topics,
and we are a research group of 7 people (4 Dr students, 2 Post docs, and 1
Professor).
