Title: Improvement of the field production forecast workflow including uncertainty analysis Objective: Improve the workflow for the field production forecast including the uncertainties. Scope of Work: Analyse the existing production profiles and calculate the risked profiles (Low-Mean-High cases) at segment / reservoir / field scale based on Monte Carlo analysis and provide the forecast on the field/area level. By using the data from a specific North Sea field, the workflow for field production forecast will be improved. Required skill: Reservoir engineering by training. Knowlege on Eclipse / OFM / IPOS type of software or equivalent will be benefical, but not mandatory. Title: Network simulation for production optimization Objectives: There are 2 primary objectives for this project: 1) To benchmark a new software, with slightly different approach to network simulation compared to a commmercial network simulator GAP, and investigate the functionality of the new software. 2) To use the new software for a North Sea field case and recommend a production strategy. Scope of work: The benchmarking will be performed in cooperation with the vendor and with the in-house competance.For production optimization, the case where isolated reservoirs are coupled through a common production facility at the surface and it is desirable to optimize the production by tuning of the production parameters such as production rates and well head pressure with regards to facilities constraints. The final report will contain the outcome of both tasks. Required skill: The project involve reservoir simulation (Eclipse) togehter with the production optimization tool.
