Experimental proteome researchTo identify novel proteins of plant peroxisomes we established proteome analysis for leaf peroxisomes of the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana and (Reumann et al., 2007/2009; Babujee et al., 2010). Numerous novel and unexpected proteins have been identified by this approach and their peroxisome localization been validated by Spinacia oleraceain vivo subcellular targeting analysis. Proteome analysis of senescent leaf peroxisomes (gerontosomes) has been covered in collaboration with the Arabidopsis 2010 Peroxisome Project headed by Jianping Hu. Differential proteome analysis upon abiotic and biotic stress application and phosphoproteomics have been initiated.2D gel of Arabidopsis leaf peroxisomes (Reumann et al., 2007) |
